Law enforcement formally charged him with assault occasioning bodily harm. This follows allegations that he physically assaulted a student. Also, The Fraud Squad Division's police arrested and charged a prominent Kingston attorney, Ano Miller Sewell. She allegedly failed to account for over $37.8 million given to her by a client to purchase a St Andrew property. The police charged Miller Sewell with fraudulent conversion during her recent legal troubles. She was also charged with possession of criminal property on May 27, 2025. Her attorney was present at the time.
