George Moodie, the principal of Grateful Hill Primary School and a former Jamaica Labor Party (JLP) councilor, is now facing legal trouble. Law enforcement formally charged him with assault occasioning bodily harm. This follows allegations that he physically assaulted a student. Also, The Fraud Squad Division's police arrested and charged a prominent Kingston attorney, Ano Miller Sewell. She allegedly failed to account for over $37.8 million given to her by a client to purchase a St Andrew property. The police charged Miller Sewell with fraudulent conversion during her recent legal troubles. She was also charged with possession of criminal property on May 27, 2025.
