Kngston, Jamaica, on Monday, June 30, detectives from the Half Way Tree Police Department charged a suspect with the fatal shooting of a Police Corporal during a gas station robbery in December 2024. Authorities identified the accused as Ornell Allen, o/c 'Nellie,' 32, a taxi driver from Westmore Gardens in Spanish Town, St Catherine. Also, Police in Westmoreland, Jamaica, have charged a male suspect after he allegedly pointed a gun at the complainant. Authorities stated that the incident occurred on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in Bastard Cedar Walk, Petersfield. The police have identified the accused as Niokaye Nelson, o/c 'Fast Car,' 23, a chef, from Bastard Cedar Walk in Petersfield.
