Andre Grant faces cocaine charges after a police search discovered drugs at his home and workstation at Sangster International Airport. CCTV footage linked Grant to cocaine found on the airport floor, prompting the investigation. Authorities recovered multiple packages of cocaine from Grant's workstation, alongside US$1,251 in cash he claimed came from tips. During questioning, Grant admitted to dropping cocaine at the airport and led police to additional drugs and money at his home. Court proceedings revealed outstanding evidence including CCTV footage and forensic certificates related to the case.

Cops in St Ann have officially charged a security guard after he allegedly shot a male customer during a physical altercation at a supermarket in Discovery Bay, St Ann. The police said the incident occurred on Tuesday, July 7. Also, Cops in St Thomas charged a laborer and a teenage boy with possession of a prohibited weapon following the seizure of an imitation firearm on July 5.

Manchester Police launched Operation Reset to Combat Crime.

Manchester Police Division has a new Operations Officer who is determined to curb escalations in crime and violence in the parish. On Friday, the authorities launched Operation Reset in Mandeville and Porus. As a result, the police charged eight individuals with breaches of the Fraudulent Conversion Special Provisions Act. Also, they charged one person with breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act.

These new charges relate to a separate incident involving another woman he also reportedly met online. Also, authorities are investigating the tragic death of Anishka Thompson in the Hill Top district of Parottee, a community in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica.
