Criminal Charges Filed Against Man for Assault and Imprisonment.

Paul Stephenson, the St. Catherine man, police charged with assault is now facing a murder charge following the death of the victim. He allegedly injected his girlfriend with a toxic substance during a domestic dispute.

Police in St Catherine reportedly brought criminal charges against a suspect who allegedly tied up his ex-girlfriend and left her in his house for hours. The incident occurred in Spanish Town on October 14 after the complainant ended the relationship.

The police charged Navarro Daley, 26, self-employed, of Eltham Park, in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, with false imprisonment.

According to reports, at about 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14, Daley and his 22-year-old companion were involved in a dispute that led to criminal charges.

During the dispute, the complainant reportedly decided she had enough, ended the relationship, and left the premises.

But the accused allegedly used a piece of rope to bind her, locked her inside the house, and then left.

After hours of being tied up, the woman eventually managed to free herself at about 5:00 p.m. and filed a report with the Spanish Town police.

The police launched an investigation and arrested and charged Daley on Wednesday with criminal charges.

His court is pending.

Criminal Charges Attempted Rape and Burglary brought against St Ann Man.

Police in St Ann brought criminal charges against a St Ann. He allegedly broke into the complainant’s house and attempted to assault her sexually.

The authorities identified the accused as Oral Brown, o/c ‘Ratty,’ 45, of Nine Mile in St. Ann.

Brown faces criminal charges of burglary and assault with intent to rape.

According to the Alexander police, at about 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 13, Brown allegedly entered the complainant’s home while she was sleeping, which led to criminal charges.

A police source said Brown reportedly undressed and attempted to remove the complainant’s shorts and assaulted her.

The victim raised the alarm, and a relative caught the suspect before he could escape. The relative alerted the police.

Upon arrival, law enforcement arrested the suspect and formally charged him after the victim filed a report and made a statement leading to criminal charges.

Brown’s court appearance date is pending.
