According to the police report, at around 10:30 p.m., Watson was at home when an unknown assailant attacked him, shooting and injuring him.

Neighbors transported him to the St. Ann’s Bay Hospital, where the authorities pronounced him dead.

The police have yet to prove a motive for the recent gun attack

Peters, an unemployed, resident of Greenwich Park Road, Kingston, was shot at approximately 9:20 p.m. while he was on the roadway known as ‘Havana.’ .

Residents transported Peters to the Kingston Public Hospital, where the authorities pronounced him dead.

The police have yet to prove a motive for the deadly gun attack.

The Denham Town Criminal Investigations Branch is probing the matter.

On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, police from the St. Andrew Central Police Division in Jamaica charged a teenage boy with armed robbery. The police reported that the teen allegedly committed the robbery on March 12, 2025, along Chatham Avenue in St. Andrew.

The teen’s identity was withheld. Authorities stated he faces multiple charges. These charges include robbery with aggravation, possession of a prohibited weapon, and unauthorized possession of ammunition.

According to the Half-Way-Tree police, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the complainant was walking along Chatham Avenue. A teen, riding a motorcycle with a pillion passenger, stopped him. The teen brandished a firearm and demanded the complainant’s cell phone.

In fear for his life, the complainant handed over the phone. The teen then fled the scene on the motorcycle.

Afterward, the complainant went to the police station to file a report. Detectives launched an investigation into the recent gun attack and then arrested the accused during an operation.

The teen was charged after a question-and-answer session with detectives. This session took place in the presence of his attorney on Tuesday, June 3.

His court appearance date is pending.
