Police Report Sez: On Friday, the police fatally shot a suspect, and an officer narrowly escaped serious injury when a bullet struck his protective vest. The incident occurred during an alleged confrontation in the Farm community near Effortville, Clarendon, Jamaica. Domestic Violence: 13-year-old victim succumbed to her injuries

Domestic Violence claimed a young life. On Tuesday, June 9 police charged a suspect with the death of Kemelia Paul, 13, who passed away in the hospital on Tuesday. Investigators have identified the suspect as Kemar Mitchell, 28, a carpenter of a Kingston 17 address. The charge stemmed from a domestic dispute between Mitchell and Kemelia's mother at home on May 9.

INDECOM: Cops killed 11 in 5 shootings, no body camera evidence

The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) confirmed that none of the police officers involved in five fatal shootings across four parishes, which led to the deaths of 11 men within 24 hours, were wearing body-worn cameras. According to INDECOM, these incidents involved two quadruple fatal shootings and three single fatal shootings occurring in St. James, St. Catherine, Clarendon, and St. Andrew.

Sean Raby an ex-police officer died during a police confrontation

Sean Raby, a former police officer, is dead. Members of the security forces shot and killed the ex-cop on Wednesday evening. He allegedly hijacked a taxi, shot at police officers, and led them on a chase through sections of Kingston. Also, a deadly shooting in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, on Wednesday night resulted in the deaths of two men and two others, including a woman injured.
