On October 10, police shot and killed Kemar Richards during a confrontation in Spanish Town. Separately, Rochelle Mason was fatally shot in a bar in St. Andrew, allegedly by her ex-boyfriend, who has been taken into custody. Both incidents are currently under investigation by authorities.
