Domestic Feud: Two Trigger happy Suspects face Gun Charges. Police in Trelawny have charged a suspect with assault at common law and using a firearm to commit a felony. Investigators stated that the charges stemmed from a feud that occurred in the Hague community on June 17, 2025.
Authorities ID the suspect. His name is Allan Messado, 58, a business operator from Stonebrook Vista in Trelawny.
The Falmouth police have confirmed the incident. They stated that at about 10 a.m. on June 17, surveyors, accompanied by their client, were working at a property when Messado arrived.
According to reports, Messado and the property owner have a long-standing feud.
The property owner asked Messado to leave. Messado became upset. He exposed his licensed firearm, which was in his waistband. Then, he walked away.
But moments later, Messado escalated the feud. He allegedly turned around and pointed the firearm at the property owner.
Then, while holding the gun, he reportedly walked toward the complainant.
Fortunately, one of the surveyors intervened and brought the situation under control.
Later, the complainant filed a criminal report with the police. The police launched an investigation. This led to Messado’s arrest and the filing of formal charges against him. His court date is pending.
Clarendon Man Arrested for Attempted Murder in Domestic Feud
The Clarendon police have arrested a suspect. They charged the individual with firearm-related offenses. This followed a heated family feud at their home on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
Authorities identified the suspect as Anthony Kiffin, o/c ‘Rambo,’ 49, a mechanic from Rose Hall district in Sandy Bay, Clarendon.

The police charged Kiffin with attempting to discharge loaded firearms with intent to murder. They also charged him with possession of a prohibited weapon. Additionally, Kiffin was charged with assault at common law and unlawful wounding.
According to the May Pen police, at approximately 7:45 a.m., Kiffin and the complainant, who is a distant relative, were at home when a family feud occurred.
During the family feud, Kiffin allegedly pointed a firearm in the complainant’s direction.
The complainant challenged Kiffin. A tussle ensued, and the complainant reportedly disarmed Kiffin and threw the firearm into nearby bushes.
Kiffin then allegedly threw several stones, hitting the man.
Later, the complainant filed a report with the police, who assisted to the hospital.
The police launched an investigation into the family feud and visited Kiffin’s home.
Upon seeing the police, Kiffin reportedly ran from the scene but officers chased and caught him.
During a search of Kiffin’s section of the house, the police reportedly found one Astra 9mm pistol in his possession.
The police later arrested and charged Kiffin.
His court date has not been finalized.
