Wanted: Police released Names of Violent Crime Suspects . KINGSTON, Jamaica—A recent increase in violent crime across several communities in the St. Andrew South Division has led the police to identify individuals they suspect are involved in criminal activities in the area.
In response, the Hunts Bay Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) is urging these individuals to turn themselves in by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025.
The police have stated that the individuals in question are either wanted for serious crimes. They are also persons of interest in ongoing investigations related to murder and shootings.
The police encouraged the individuals to come forward. They could be accompanied by someone of their choice. The options include a pastor, lawyer, justice of the peace, teacher, mother, or father.
They are:
1. Courtney Ashley, also known as “Bloodstain,” residing at a Fenbrook Avenue, Kingston 20 address. He is wanted for murder.
2. Sheldon Barrett, of Metcalfe Road, Kingston 13, who is considered a person of interest in a murder case.
3. Kevin Harry is also known as “Harry Potter.” He is from Brook Valley, Kingston 20. He has been identified as a person of interest in a murder case.
4. Owen Laidley, also known as “Max,” from Brook Valley, Kingston 20, and Rasta Lane, Bull Bay, Kingston. He is a person of interest in a murder and shooting case.
5. Dave King is also known as “Bread Back.” He resides at 11 Grape Road, Kingston 11. He is a person of interest in a murder and shooting case.
6. Avon Sutherland is also known as “Tugs.” He is from 3 Latore Avenue / Ambrooke Lane, Kingston 13. He has been identified as a person of interest in a murder case.
7. Theo Smith is also known as “Gilly.” He resides at 41 Galloway Road, Kingston 13. He is a person of interest in a murder case.
8. Dwayne Picton is also known as “Spoogy.” He is from 50 Pretoria Road, Kingston 13. He was identified as a person of interest in a murder case.
9. Jaquan Stevens is also known as “Quan.” He is from Crescent Road, Kingston 13. He is a person of interest in a murder and shooting case.
10. Marcus Brissett is also known as “Beezy.” He lives on Kidd Lane, Kingston 13. He is identified as a person of interest in a murder and shooting case.
11. Omarion Lemard is also known as “OJ.” He is from Waltham Park Road, Kingston 13. He is a person of interest in a murder case.
12. O’Neil Edwards is also known as “Foey.” He resides at 13 Kidd Lane, Kingston 13. He is a person of interest in a murder case.
13. Ramone Moodie is also known as “Prezzie.” He resides at 43 Fitzgerald Avenue, Kingston 13. Authorities identified him as a person of interest in a murder case.
14. Kevin Paisley is also known as “Keh Keh.” He is from a Crescent address in Kingston 13. He is a person of interest in a murder case.
15. A man is known as “Pelpa.” He lives at 15 Lane, Waltham Park Road, Kingston 13. He is a person of interest in a murder case.
16. Grim, also known as “Grimlin,” from Kidd Lane, Kingston 13, identified as a person of interest in a murder case.
17. Ricardo Moodie is also known as “Bloody Guns.” He is from Tripe Lane, Penwood Road, Kingston 11. Ricardo Moodie is a person of interest in a murder case.

Wanted bike taxi operator charged with rape and abduction
Police in Lucea, Hanover, Jamaica, charged a bike taxi operator with rape, indecent assault, and abduction. The charges stemmed from an incident in the York Hill District in Hanover on February 27, 2025

Investigators identified the suspect as Clifton Brissett, o/c ‘Pancho,’ from Salt Spring, Green Island in Hanover, Jamaica.
The Lucea police said that at about 3:30 p.m., on February 27, 2025, a woman was walking along the York Hill District roadway. Brissett allegedly approached her and pulled her into the bushes. Then, he proceeded to assault her sexually.
Later that day, the complainant filed a criminal complaint with the police. The police launched an investigation and listed Brissett as wanted.
Fearing the police’s wrought, Brissett surrendered on May 7, 2025. The police charged him on May 16 after the complainant pointed him out in an identification parade.
Law enforcement scheduled him to face the Hanover Parish Court on May 20.
