Brandon Haughton Charged: Allegations of Rape and Abduction
Felony Allegations: Suspects Charged in Guy’s Hill and Trelawny. Police in Trelawny, Jamaica, charged a suspect with multiple crimes. He allegedly forcibly abducted and then sexually assaulted the female he accompanied to a party on April 10, 2025.
Law enforcement identified the accused as Brandon Haughton, also called ‘KJ,’ 26, of Greenvale district in Trelawny.
Investigators charged Haughton with possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of ammunition, three counts of rape, and forcible abduction.
According to investigators, the felony allegations stated that the complainant went to a party with Haughton. At some point, Haughton left the party. Then, he asked her friend to pick her up.
While driving from the party, the woman’s friend stopped at a nearby shop to buy an item. Moments later, Haughton pulled up to the exact location.
Then, he allegedly ordered the complainant to exit her friend’s vehicle. He forced her into his car and then took her to a house where he sexually assaulted her.
The complainant repeated the felony allegations to the police. The police responded swiftly and found her at the house, where the accused assaulted her. They instantly removed her from the premises.
Besides, law enforcement searched the premises in Haughton’s presence and view.
More felony allegations. During the search, authorities discovered a Taurus Armour G2C pistol on the bedroom floor, with its magazine containing five cartridges.
As a result, the officers arrested Haughton and placed him in custody. Then, they transported the complainant to the hospital for medical examination.
On Saturday, April 12, 2025, detectives formally charged Haughton. They scheduled him for the Trelawny Parish Court in Duncans on April 17. There, he will respond to the felony allegations.
A driver who felony allegation stated that he used his car as the murder weapon during the dispute charged with murder
Cops from Guy’s Hill, St. Catherine, Jamaica, have charged a suspect with murder. Investigators named the deceased as Joel Walker. The tragedy occurred in the Golden Grove district in 2021.
Authorities identified the accused as Joel Needham, 27, a truck driver and sales representative of Golden Grove district, St. Catherine.

Law enforcement charged Needham with the murder of 22-year-old Joel Walker, a farmer from the Golden Grove district.
The Guy’s Hill police reported that around 1:30 p.m. on September 25, 2021, an argument arose between Walker and a relative of Needham in their community.
Felony Allegations. Needham reportedly intervened in the dispute. Then, he allegedly used his Toyota Probox motor car as a weapon and struck Walker, inflicting severe injuries.
The police responded and transported Walker to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
After a four-year-long investigation into the felony allegation, police apprehended and charged Needham.
His court appearance date is pending.
