Gun Violence Report: Manhunt launched For Two Suspects. In Kingston, Western, Jamaica, Police launched a search for a suspect. Authorities said the suspect reportedly shot and wounded the mother of his child, leaving her hospitalized in serious condition.
Reports indicated that the shooting occurred sometime on Wednesday night, March 5, 2025, along Buckas Scheme, Third Street, Kingston 12.
Law enforcement identified the victim only as a 36-year-old vendor of the same address.
But they have identified a suspect known as Mark Anthony Roberts, otherwise called ‘Markie.’
The police said Roberts is wanted for questioning in connection with the incident.
Gun Violence Report. Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner Michael Phipps, head of the Area 4 Police, urged Roberts to surrender immediately. He should do this at the nearest police station.
Reportedly, the couple got involved in a heated argument that escalated into a melee.

The victim reportedly ran, but her attacker chased her, and she collapsed.
The suspect successfully fled the scene on foot into the surrounding area.
Good Samaritans assisted the seriously injured woman to the hospital, where the medical staff admitted her for treatment.
Authorities allege that the suspect is part of a local criminal gang, and police fear reprisals following the woman’s shooting.

Gun Violence Report. Cops in Spanish Town reported that on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, two suspects allegedly fatally wounded a bus driver. The authorities stated that the senseless killing unfolded along Burke Road in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, Jamaica.
Law enforcement identified the deceased as 37-year-old Michael Miller of King Street, Spanish Town.
According to reports, at about 8:05 a.m., Miller was standing near a plaza on Burke Road. While their two men, one armed with a gun, approached him.
Reportedly, Miller attempted to flee, but the man with the gun opened fire, hitting him.
As a result, he collapsed onto a stall.

Detectives assigned to the Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch have started an investigation into the brutal killing.
The police have yet to prove a motive for the crime.
