JCF Probes Police Misconduct in TikToker Rosalee Case

Manchester Police Division has a new Operations Officer who is determined to curb escalations in crime and violence in the parish. On Friday, the authorities launched Operation Reset in Mandeville and Porus. As a result, the police charged eight individuals with breaches of the Fraudulent Conversion Special Provisions Act. Also, they charged one person with breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act.

JCF Probes Police Misconduct in TikToker Rosalee Case. The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) hierarchy has announced an investigation. They are looking into allegations that a member of the JCF recorded popular TikToker Rosalee Hamilton in the nude. This occurred during a police operation at her home. Strangely, the video later appeared on social media.

JCF Probes Police Misconduct. The JCF says it seriously takes the allegations of misconduct seriously. These allegations concern claims of the unauthorized recording and distribution of a video of Hamilton in a compromising position.

According to reports, the Criminal Investigation Branch is conducting a separate inquiry. The Inspectorate and Professional Oversight Bureau (IPROB) is also conducting another inquiry. Both aim to establish the facts surrounding the incident.

JCF Probes Police Misconduct. In a statement released on Sunday, the JCF assured the public that it would treat the investigation seriously. It promised to take necessary corrective actions based on its findings.

The unfortunate incident stemmed from a police operation at Hamilton’s home early Saturday morning, February 8, 2025.

The allegations are that one of the Police officers who entered Hamilton’s home during an operation maliciously recorded her in a state of nakedness and later posted the video on social media.

The incident has reportedly left the TikToker embarrassed and in mental distress.

After the incident, Hamilton shared a tearful video urging authorities, including Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness, to investigate the matter and take action.
