St Thomas police launched an investigation into the murder of a man in Seaforth on Sunday night, October 6. He was allegedly gunned down by unknown assailants.
The deceased has been identified as Jahiem Braham, o/c ‘Ah,’ 23, a laborer of Blacksmith Lane, St Thomas.
At about 8:45 p.m., Braham was at McLean Lane in Seaforth, St Thomas. Citizens heard explosions and alerted the police.
Law enforcement responded, and upon their arrival, they found Braham suffering from gunshot wounds.
The responding officers assisted Braham to the hospital, where a member of the medical staff pronounced him dead.
Investigators have yet to theorize a clear motive for the shooting.
Detectives from the Morant Bay Criminal Investigations Branch are probing the murder.
Teen Stabbed to Death in Linstead Bus Park: Suspect Arrested on Suspecion of Murder.
The Linstead police have apprehended an individual in connection with the murder of a teenager. The victim, 19-year-old Andrew Creary from Cheesefield District, Linstead, St. Catherine, reportedly succumbed to stab wounds inflicted by the suspect during an altercation on Monday night.

Details indicated that at approximately 10:30 p.m. on October 6, Creary was part of a group of four men that confronted the suspect in the bus park. A physical struggle ensued, resulting in injuries to the suspect’s face and other areas of his body.
During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly produced a knife and inflicted a stab wound to Creary’s chest.
Despite prompt efforts by residents to transport Creary to Linstead Hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival by hospital authorities.
In the aftermath of the incident, the suspect voluntarily surrendered to the police. The police later placed him under arrest on suspicion of murder.
Law enforcement officials have not yet formulated a motive for Creary’s murder, according to police statements.
The Linstead Criminal Investigation Branch is conducting an investigation into the case. The authorities have withheld the identity of the suspect pending formal charges.
Suspect Charged in Maxfield Avenue fatal shooting of Woman.
The Hunts Bay Police have formally charged a suspect in connection with the murder of a woman on Nelson Road, which occurred on June 26.

Romario Grant, also known as ‘Kaka’ and ‘Irons,’ faces charges for the murder of Ireen Laing. Additionally, he is under investigation concerning the murder of her son.
Superintendent Damion Manderson, who leads the St. Andrew South Police, made this announcement.
According to investigators, on June 26, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Ms. Laing was seated at her gate on Nelson Road when a vehicle occupied by armed individuals approached. Two men exited the vehicle and shot Ms. Laing. The critically injured woman was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Grant, who had been listed as one of the St. Andrew South Police’s most wanted fugitives, was apprehended during a police operation in East Kingston.
Grant’s first court appearance date is pending.
