Popcaan going independent had enough of Drake and OVO.

Hence, it is reasonable to assume Popcaan is unsatisfied with the strength he is getting from Drake and his OVO label. In May 2016, Dancehall artiste Mr. Vegas raised suspicion about Drake when the Canadian rapper released an album with samples of Beenie Man and Popcaan but failed to credit the artists on the album cover. Vegas goes on to brand as "Drake the fake," and accuses the rapper of only using dancehall because it was the hottest genre then. But shortsighted Popcaan rubbished Mr. Vegas for speaking ill of his friend. He released a video dissing Vegas and praising Drake.
