Investigators identified the accused as Zasha McLeod, 28, of Lloyd Road, Kingston 16. She reportedly tendered her resignation after management confronted her about the money.

The Portmore police reported that between May 19 and June 11, 2025, McLeod and another employee, both of whom are supervisors at the business, collected a total of $1,346,500 in gas payments. The police also noted that McLeod signed the receipts for these transactions. But they never deposited the funds into the company’s account.

When management confronted McLeod, she reportedly denied any involvement and then tendered her resignation. Her co-accused has fled the establishment.

Investigators arrested McLeod and formally charged her on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

She is scheduled to be in the St Catherine Parish Court on August 5.

Investigators from the Constant Spring police reported that at approximately 12:55 PM on June 11, a man named Berry and his accomplice stopped their motor vehicle. They stopped next to a man at a fast food restaurant on Red Hills Road.

Berry allegedly exited the vehicle, brandished a firearm, and robbed the man of his belongings before fleeing in the waiting car.

In a second incident, Berry and his accomplice approached another man at a plaza on Constant Spring Road around 10:55 AM on Friday, June 13. Once again, Berry displayed a firearm and robbed the man of his iPhone 15 Pro Max.

His accomplice then reportedly took $5,000 from the victim. Both men later escaped.

A report was filed with the police, prompting an investigation. Berry was later apprehended during an operation on Saturday, July 5, and was formally charged on Sunday, July 27. His accomplice remains at large.

Investigators said Berry’s court date is pending.
