Jamaica: Tourist dies after Collision, Passenger Bus Overturns.. St. Mary, Jamaica, a passenger bus overturned on the Junction main road. This accident occurred on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Several people were reportedly injured.
According to reports, the accident occurred at about 9 a.m.
The report stated that the bus was transporting 24 passengers from Kingston to Annotto Bay in St. Mary, Jamaica.
The vehicle reached a section of the road near the Tapeico Village in Broadgate. It developed mechanical problems while negotiating a corner.
As a result, the driver reportedly lost control, and the vehicle overturned into a gully.
Several of the 25 occupants suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Members of the Jamaica Defence Force assisted them to the Annotto Bay Hospital.
The St Mary police are investigating the incident.

On Friday, May 30, 2024, a motorist reportedly died from injuries he sustained when his vehicle collided with a tree. The tragic accident occurred along the Retreat main road in St. Thomas, Jamaica.

The authorities identified the deceased as Brian Tromley, 64, of Yallahs, St Thomas, Jamaica, and Maine in the United States.
According to reports, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Tromley was driving a Nissan Teana motor car along the Retreat roadway.
Upon reaching a section of the road, he reportedly lost control of the vehicle. As a result, The vehicle ran off the road and collided with a tree.
Concerned citizens reportedly assisted Tromley to the Princess Margaret Hospital in St. Thomas, Jamaica, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Mystery of motorcyclist’s death in St Mary, Investigated
The Annotto Bay police in St Mary, Jamaica, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a motorcyclist. Relatives discovered his body in a ditch along the main road in Bottom Bay. This occurred on Sunday morning, June 1, 2025.
Law enforcement identified the deceased as Ronaldo Blackwood, 24, of Highgate District in Above Rocks, St. Catherine.
The authorities reported that Blackwood and other bikers attended a party in Annotto Bay. They were returning to their destination around 4:00 a.m. when they noticed he was missing.
The bikers searched for Blackwood but did not find him.
His family was notified of his absence upon the group’s arrival at their destination.
Relatives conducted a search and discovered Blackwood. He was unresponsive in a ditch beside his motorcycle along the main road in Bottom Bay.
He was taken to the Annotto Bay Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
