St. Thomas man charged with abduction, robbery, and sexual assault
Police Charged Suspects in Westmoreland, St Mary, And St Thomas. Police in St Thomas charged a suspect in a serious crime. The suspect is accused of abducting, sexually assaulting, and robbing a female. The stolen items include electronics equipment and money valued at $116,000 in January 2025.
The authorities identified the accused as Anthony Graham. He is otherwise called ‘Ebbeh.’ He is 49 years old and a construction worker from the Springfield district in Morant Bay, St. Thomas.
Police charged suspect Graham with assault at common law and grievous sexual assault. They also charged him with robbery with aggravation. Additionally, Graham faced charges of unauthorized access to a computer device and forcible abduction. Lastly, he was charged with simple larceny.
The police alleged that at about 7:30 p.m. on January 25, Graham attacked the complainant. She was walking along the roadway in the Woodburn district near Yallahs.
He dragged her into nearby bushes. Then he forced her into the back of a car. His accomplice drove the car.
The driver drove the vehicle to a remote location. There, the men stole the complainant’s Samsung A24, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and Scotia debit card.
Next, the robbers allegedly forced the complainant to reveal passwords and PINs. They then sexually assaulted her. Finally, they left her behind.
The suspects allegedly drove to Kingston and withdrew $24,000 from an ATM. The total value of the stolen items is estimated to be $92,000.
The complainant filed a report with the police, and they launched an investigation.
On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, detectives arrested Graham during an operation. They formally charged him after a questioning session. His attorney accompanied him during this session.
The authorities scheduled Graham to be before the court on April 9, 2025.
Detectives from the Yallahs PD are actively searching for Graham’s accomplice.
Police charged suspect in Negril bartender’s fatal stabbing.
In Westmoreland, Jamaica, detectives assigned to the Negril PD charged a suspect. The charge followed an alleged fatal stabbing of a bartender in White Hall, Negril, on March 15, 2025.
Law enforcement ID the accused as Sadesie Johnson, otherwise called ‘TJ,’ 31, from White Hall Avenue in Westmoreland.

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, police charged suspect Johnson with murder. Dorrel Thomas, age 25, was the victim. He was a late resident of White Hall Avenue in Negril, Westmoreland.
According to police reports, at around 12:50 a.m. on March 15, Johnson and Thomas were at a venue when a dispute occurred between them.
During the altercation, Johnson allegedly used a knife to stab Thomas in the right side of his chest.
Thomas reportedly collapsed.
Officers patrolling the community responded quickly and apprehended Johnson. The police said they caught Johnson with a kitchen knife that appeared to have bloodstains.
The police rushed Thomas to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injury while undergoing treatment.
Johnson’s court appearance date is pending.
Police charged two suspects in St. Mary for Imitation Guns and Lottery Scams
The St. Mary police reported the arrest of two suspects on Thursday, March 27, 2025. The arrests were related to illegal firearms and lottery scamming activities.
Law enforcement agents ID the suspects as Delroy Simmonds, 26, and Chadrick Higgins, 22.
Reportedly, detectives took the men in custody after searching the suspects’ residences in Dean Pen and Tremolesworth districts.
The police charged Simmonds under the Prohibited Weapons Act. Law enforcement officers searched his premises in Tremolesworth districts between 5:00 a.m. and 7:45 a.m.
They reportedly found two imitation firearms. One resembled a pistol, and the other resembled a revolver. They also found a magazine, plastic pellets, and spent casings.
In a separate incident in the nearby Dean Pen district, the police arrested Higgins. They charged him with possessing identity information. This was under the Law Reform (Fraudulent Transactions) (Special Provisions) Act, commonly known as the lottery scam law.
The police searched his residence and allegedly found a laptop and a mobile phone that contained several Microsoft Excel documents. These documents included the contact details of individuals in the United States. Law enforcement believed they were linked to lottery scam activities.
The police also seized J$724,445, US$500, and CAD$20.
The authorities have yet to set a court appearance date for the accused.
