Bog Walk men booked for double gun seizure, including submachine.

In St. Catherine, Jamaica, the police have formally charged two men from Bog Walk with two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon in connection with a double gun seizure..

These charges arose from a police operation conducted in Swamp Lane, Bog Walk, on Thursday, September 26, during which law enforcement officials recovered two illegal firearms.

A police source has identified the accused individuals as Dwaine Peters, aged 43, a laborer, and 23-year-old Tillisia Anderson. Both individuals are residents of Swamp Lane, Bog Walk, St. Catherine.

According to the allegations, at approximately 6:30 a.m., a joint team of police and military personnel executed a snap raid at the residence of the accused.

During the search of the premises, officers purportedly discovered one Mac 11 submachine gun, alongside a magazine, and one 9 mm Beretta pistol, also with a magazine, within the dwelling occupied by the suspects.

The police apprehended the men and formally charged them on Saturday, September 28, following a question-and-answer session conducted in the presence of their attorney.

Their court date is yet to be determined.

Illegal Firearms Seized in Jamaica’s St. Catherine Division.

Early Monday morning, a law enforcement team from the Spanish Town Police Department in St Catherine conducted a snap raid in Gravel Heights, resulting in the seizure of one illegal firearm.

The weapon in question was a Smith and Wesson pistol accompanied by a magazine holding seven rounds of .38MM cartridges.

Authorities confirmed that this incident marked the 40th gun seizure in the St Catherine North Police Division this year.

Notably, no arrests were made in connection with this seizure.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Authorities Confiscate Firearm in Rockfort.

In Kingston East, Jamaica, law enforcement officials confiscated a 9mm Sig Sauer pistol along with a magazine containing four 9mm cartridges in Rockfort, Kingston, on Sunday, September 28.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., police, acting on information received, conducted a search of a designated premises within the community.

During this operation, authorities recovered the firearm and ammunition.

As of now, no individuals have been apprehended in connection with the seizure.

The investigation is ongoing, according to police statements.
