Hoodlums seized a pregnant Hanover woman and her two-year-old baby boy, callously shooting the woman in the head before callously abandoning them on the street.
In a separate horrifying incident, a St Andrew woman was confronted with the brutal truth when her son fell victim to armed assailants. In agony, she cried out to a higher power, questioning why such suffering was being inflicted upon her.
Shooting Incident Leaves Three Women Injured in Montego Bay.
On the night of Wednesday, April 15, 2024, three women were shot and wounded by an individual in Montego Bay, St. James. The incident took place around 10:20 p.m. on King Street.
Reports indicate that the women were conversing in a yard when a man emerged, drew a firearm, and fired at them.
The women fled in various directions while the assailant fled the scene on foot.
Subsequently, it was confirmed that all three women had sustained gunshot injuries.
They were quickly taken to Cornwall Regional Hospital for medical attention.
The Montego Bay police are currently conducting an investigation into the shooting.
