The authorities have identified the taxi driver as Danico Williamson, 28. They withheld the teen’s name. Both accused are residents of Whitehall Avenue in St Andrew.

Investigators have charged Williamson and his co-accused with the murder of 25-year-old Kenardo Thompson. He was from Bond Street, Kingston 14, Jamaica.

Additionally, detectives have charged the accused with conspiracy to murder, possession of a prohibited weapon, and unauthorized possession of ammunition.

According to reports, both Thompson and Williamson were involved in intimate relationships with the underage teen girl.

When Williamson learned about the love triangle, he and the teen allegedly orchestrated a plan to kill Thompson. Neither man knew that they were involved in a love triangle

The Constant Spring police say that at about 11:00 a.m., on the day of the brutal murder, the teen allegedly lured Thompson to Swansea Avenue.

As Thompson walked along Swansea Avenue, Williamson and two men pulled up in an orange KIA Picanto motor vehicle.

Then, the men exited the car, brandished firearms, and opened fire on Thompson, hitting him several times.

Law enforcement responded and encountered the KIA as it sped from the murder scene. The officers chased and intercepted the vehicle and apprehended Williamson as he attempted to escape over a wall.

Investigators apprehended the teen on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. They formally charged the accused on Wednesday, April 2.

The accused court appearance dates are pending.

The love triangle murder shocked the entire community.

ST MARY, Jamaica — The St Mary police are investigating a suspected suicide. It happened in Galena, within the parish, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

The deceased, a 36-year-old salesman from Galena, has not yet been identified by the authorities.

Reports show that around 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday, the man’s relatives saw him enter his room.

Yet, when a family member knocked on his door the next morning, they received no response. They entered the room and discovered him hanging from the ceiling.

The Port Maria police responded and processed the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
