Teacher’s Shocking Death: Police Launched an Investigation. Police in St. Mary have begun an investigation into the death of a teacher. Neighbors found her body with a slashed throat in her home on Post Road, Pear Tree Grove, on Saturday.
Dead is Angela Hamilton, 59. According to residents, she was last seen leaving work on Friday afternoon. She lived alone.
Residents in the community expressed concerns after attempting to contact her by phone several times on Saturday afternoon went unanswered. This information is according to Acting Superintendent Anthony Wallace, head of the police division.
Teacher’s shocking death. Wallace reportedly said a friend of Hamilton’s visited her residence around 3:05 p.m. and discovered that the door to the living room was open.
Upon entering the house, the friend reportedly found the teacher’s body lying on the floor in the dining room.
The friend raised the alarm and summoned law enforcement.
Law enforcement responded and found Hamilton dressed in a lavender dress. They discovered she had a slashed throat. She also suffered a stab wound to the chest.
Wallace assured the public that the police were committed to conducting a thorough investigation into the teacher’s shocking death. He appealed to anyone with information about Hamilton’s barbaric slaying to contact the St. Mary police or the nearest police station.

Meanwhile, three children perished in a house fire in Walkerswood, St Ann early Sunday morning.
Preliminary reports indicated that the children’s grandmother and one child survived the blaze.
The authorities have yet to communicate the details and cause of the fire. But, according to unconfirmed reports, the grandmother woke up to fire coming from a room occupied by the children.
Emergency services responded, But it was too late. Firefighters conducted cooling-down operations.
Member of Parliament (MP) for North East St Ann, Matthew Samuda, reacted to the development. He described the situation as a tragedy. He confirmed the death of the three children.
