Two of Anderson’s daughters, who live in England, reported that their mother arrived in Jamaica on November 24, 2024. She and her husband, Andre Morrison, who resides in Jamaica, checked into a hotel in Montego Bay.

At about 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, Dawnetta called her daughters and assured them that she was fine. She also told them she was getting ready to leave the hotel for Roaring River. The daughters said their mother owned a place in Roaring River, Petersfield, in Westmoreland.

On Tuesday, November 26, at about 3:15 p.m., Morrison called one of Dawnetta’s daughters and told her he couldn’t find her mother. They feared she was missing and would later be found dead.

According to the daughter, Morrison said he took Dawnetta to Negril to meet somebody who had expressed interest in her product. And when he went back to pick her up, he did not find her.

She said her mother had two mobile phones, and she called both phones but did not get any answer. Further, she said it was unlike her mother not to answer her phones.

Failing to reach Dawnetta, her family promptly filed a missing person report at the Whithorn police station–demonstrating their proactive approach and concern for her well-being.

Sources suggest that Dawnetta’s husband claimed the last time he saw her was in Negril, Westmoreland. Yet, he and his brother have gone underground after the police identified them as persons of interest in the case concerning the missing woman found dead.

According to credible sources, the Morrison brothers have a history of violent crimes. Law enforcement had arrested them on murder and wounding with intent charges but were acquitted.
