Kayodi Satchell, through her lawyer Pierre Rogers, admitted to snatching and murdering eight-year-old Danielle Rowe out of ‘frustration and bitterness.’
She was at odds with the child’s father, who she claimed infected her with the HIV Virus.
According to Satchell’s lawyer, she never planned to Kill Danielle. She did so out of frustration after attempts to have the police prosecute the father proved difficult.

Initially, the court had scheduled sentencing for December 2. But rescheduled the proceedings to December 20, when the judge will hand down the sentence.
During the proceedings, Danielle Rowe’s killer broke down in tears. She was reportedly seen sobbing as officers escorted her from the courtroom.
According to court reports, Daniel Rowe’s killer whispered an apology to Danielle Rowe’s mother and sister from the dock.
Earlier in the proceedings, Rowe’s mother and sister wept openly in court as they consoled each other.
Reportedly, there was not a dry eye in the courtroom. While reading the victim’s report, the clerk removed his glasses and wiped tears from his eyes.
Also, two probation officers present had tears flowing from their eyes.
The second-grade student of Braeton Primary and Infant School in St Catherine was abducted on June 8 last year from her school.
Later that day, a Jamaica Defense Force discovered the child with her throat slashed on Roosevelt Avenue in St Andrew.
He rushed her to the Bustamante Hospital for Children, where she died two days later.
The post-mortem report revealed the child died from an incised wound to the neck.
Investigations by the police led to Satchell being arrested on August 11 last year.
