The Exeter Police Department in Clarendon, Jamaica, has initiated an investigation into the fatal shooting of an unidentified male, known only as ‘Devil’, after his body, riddled with bullets, was discovered by local residents on Sunday, June 9, 2024. According to the Exeter police, around 9 p.m., inhabitants of the Race Course district came across the man’s body near the Community Square and promptly notified the authorities.
Officers responding to the scene encountered the body, which bore signs of multiple gunshot wounds.
The body was subsequently transported to the morgue to await an autopsy.
In the meantime, the police are actively seeking clues and a possible motive for the shooting.
Two Suspects, Including a Teen, Charged with Robbery in St. Elizabeth.
The St. Elizabeth Police have charged two individuals, including a minor, in connection with a robbery that took place in May 2024.

While the minor’s name was withheld, the adult suspect was identified as Fitzroy Hasting, 23, a lifeguard from West End Negril and Little London, Westmoreland. Both were charged with aggravated robbery, illegal possession of a weapon, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
On May 7, around 3 p.m., it was reported that the victims were in a store when Hasting and the teenager, pretending to be customers, drew guns and demanded money.
The duo is accused of stealing iPhones and Samsung tablets worth $2 million and fleeing in a Toyota Axio car.
Following the victims’ report, the police initiated an investigation.
On June 4, 2024, officers stopped a car carrying the suspects, recovered the stolen goods during a search, and arrested them.
The suspects were charged after being positively identified by the victims.
A court date is yet to be scheduled.
Welder faces wounding charges following a chopping incident during a domestic dispute.
In Clarendon, Jamaica, authorities reported on Monday, June 10, 2024, that a suspect was charged for allegedly attacking a woman with a machete at his residence during a domestic dispute on May 14, 2024.

The suspect is identified as 28-year-old David Hinds, a welder from William Avenue in May Pen, Clarendon.
Hinds faces charges of wounding with intent.
The police report states that Hinds and the complainant were at his home around 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, when an argument ensued.
During the altercation, it is alleged that Hinds struck the complainant twice on the left shoulder with a machete, resulting in severe bleeding.
Responding officers transported the complainant to the hospital for medical attention.
Hinds was apprehended by the police on June 9, 2024, and subsequently charged.
A court date for Hinds is yet to be scheduled.
