Police Officers assigned to the St. Andrew North Division are searching for four suspects in connection with a stabbing incident. The attack reportedly took place on Wednesday evening at a residence on Glen Drive in Cassava Piece, St. Andrew.
According to authorities, around 7:15 PM, a group of men armed with guns and knives assaulted the victim at the premises. During the incident, the victim sustained multiple stab wounds to the abdomen. He also received bruises on other parts of his body.
While the police did not disclose the victim’s name, they confirmed he is a 40-year-old construction worker. Residents quickly transported him to the Kingston Public Hospital, where he was admitted in serious but stable condition.
Investigators have identified the suspects as Daniel Wilson, also known as “Dan Man”. They also identified Jaheem Smith, known as “Jah Jah”. In addition, Tajay Brown, referred to as “Mad Dog”, and another individual only identified as “Punochio” are suspects. All suspects are residents of the Glen Drive area in Cassava Piece, Kingston 8.
The Constant Spring Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) is leading the investigation and has urged the suspects to turn themselves in.

Police officers arrested a suspect after seizing one Illegal gun and ammunition in St Andrew.
The St Andrew North Police proudly carried out an early morning operation in Havendale, St Andrew, on Thursday. This operation resulted in the seizure of an illegal firearm and ammunition.
Around 5 a.m., dedicated officers from the Division, along with support from other police units, executed a strategic raid on a property along Border Avenue in Kingston 19.
During this successful operation, they recovered a loaded Glock 19 pistol with eight nine-millimeter rounds of ammunition. The law enforcement team also arrested one suspect, who is now in custody at the Constant Spring Police Station.
The St Andrew North Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) is actively pursuing further investigation to ensure community safety.
