Big Wall Shooting: Cops charged Jaii Frais; Jhavy awaits charges.

Jaii Frais And Jahvy remanded: A Judge Extended their detention. On Wednesday, a judge at the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court approved a police application to remand content creator Jaii Frais and music producer Jahvel “Jahvy” Morrison in custody. The police placed the two men into custody following a shooting that occurred on Sunday during Big Wall’s post-carnival party.

Jaii Frais, whose real name is Jhaedee Richards, was one of two men arrested at the Big Wall post-carnival party. The event was held at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Center on Sunday night.

On Friday afternoon, detectives charged Jaii Frais with wounding with intent, shooting with intent, and possession of a prohibited weapon. The date for his court appearance regarding the Big Wall shooting is still pending.

Earlier on Friday, a judge in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court ordered the police to either charge Jaii Frais or release him by 6 p.m.

The court also issued a similar order for Jahvel ‘Jhavy Ambassador’ Morrison, another suspect connected to the shooting incident.

Morrison’s lawyers went to court on Friday and successfully obtained an order requiring the police to charge or release him by the same deadline.

Parish Judge Alicia McIntosh made this order in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court following a habeas corpus application. The application was filed by attorneys Sayeed Bernard and Richard Lynch. They are representing Morrison alongside King’s Counsel Peter Champagnie.

However, investigators have not yet charged Morrison, stating that they need more time to interrogate him.

The police detained Morrison after a shooting incident at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Center during the Big Wall party on Sunday night.

According to the Jamaica Constabulary Force, a dispute among patrons escalated into a gunfight around 9:30 p.m. As a result, three individuals suffered from gunshot wounds.

Popular vlogger Jhaedee Richards, also known as Jaii Frais, was among those injured and was subsequently taken into police custody.

The police reported that they allegedly seized two firearms in connection with the incident.

The investigation into the Big Wall shooting is being led by the Half-Way Tree Criminal Investigation Branch.
