ST JAMES, Jamaica: The community of Hurlock in St James was rattled by two murders on Friday night, which occurred minutes apart.
According to the police, the dead men are from the Hurlock community. They are Ronaldinho Headley, o/c ‘Mike,’ 20, a graphic artist, and O’Neil Howe.
In the first murder, which occurred about 8:00 p.m., Howe and other men were in a bar in the community when a Toyota motor car drove up.
The armed men reportedly exited the vehicle and opened fire at the group, hitting three men. The gunmen then escaped into the community.
The police responded and transported the victims to the hospital. The medical staff pronounced Howe deceased and admitted the other two men.
Not long after the first tragedy, residents summoned the police to another murder scene involving Headley.
Reportedly, at about 8:30 p.m., the police responded to Hurlock and found Headly suffering from gunshot wounds.
Hospital authorities pronounced him dead on arrival.
The police are yet to prove a motive for the killings. And it is unclear whether the murders are connected.
The Montego Bay police are investigating.
Electrician Fatally Shot in Glengoffe Tragedy.
A tragedy struck the peaceful community of Grateful Hill in Glengoffe, St Catherine, on Friday night. Lewar Davis, a 31-year-old electrician from the Glengoffe community, was brutally shot and killed by unknown assailants, as confirmed by the police.

According to reports, at about 11:20 p.m., Davis rode his motorcycle to a bar in the community.
Moments after dismounting the motorbike, armed men inside a parked car opened gunfire at Davis, hitting him multiple. Then the car sped away.
Residents rushed the injured man to hospital, but it was too late to save him. The hospital staff pronounced him dead on arrival.
The police are yet to prove a motive for Davis’ tragic death.
Police from the Linstead Criminal Investigations Branch are investigating.
Fatal Car Crash Claims Three Lives in Half-Way Tree.
Three people died tragically along Eastwood Park Road in St Andrew Saturday morning after the vehicle they were traveling in crashed into a wall and burst into flames.
Police identified the deceased as Shinell Daley, 43, Ryan Campbell, 22, and an unidentified man.

Daley and Campbell were residents of Greendale Drive in Kingston 19, the police said.
A police report stated that at about 3:40 a.m., the unidentified man drove a Honda City motor car along Eastwood Park Road with four passengers aboard.
Upon reaching a section of the road near Eastwood Plaza, the vehicle crashed into a wall and burst into flames.
The vehicle’s driver reportedly died on the spot.
An emergency team responded and transported the injured passengers to the hospital.
Hospital officials pronounced Daley and Campbell deceased and admitted the other two passengers.
Investigators assigned to the Half-Way Tree PD are investigating.
Gun Confiscated and Three Arrested in Cassava Piece Operation.
A firearm was confiscated by the St Andrew North PD during an operation in Casava Piece on Saturday. The authorities have confirmed that three suspects are now in custody in connection with this incident.

It has been reported that a police team carried out surveillance operations in the community.
The police intercepted and searched a vehicle and its occupants after the driver attempted to evade them during the operation.
During the search, law enforcement officers reportedly discovered a silver and black Smith & Wesson .40 pistol concealed in the waistband of one of the occupants.
The police have chosen not to reveal the identity of the suspects at this time, pending further investigation and formal charges.
