MANCHESTER, Jamaica: Crime and violence visited the doorsteps of the community of Lower Albion, Manchester. Residents were jolted into shock and disbelief as two men were tragically shot dead and another injured during a robbery at a local bar on Tuesday night, the police reported.
The authorities named the deceased Khalou Stultz, o/c ‘Rasta,’ 29, a merchandiser from Lower Albion, and Henry Brown, also known as ‘Iceman,’ 44, a laborer from Barnstable, May Day.
According to reports, at about 9:20 p.m., a man entered a bar in Lower Albion and purchased a cigarette.
Moments later, a man wearing a mask, and a hooded jacket entered the bar from the rear of the building and opened gunfire on the patrons.
The gunman then stole a bag containing $100,000 before escaping on foot.
The police responded and found three men suffering from gunshot wounds.
The authorities transported the injured men to the hospital, where the medical staff pronounced Stultz and Henry dead. The other man remains in the hospital.
The police said it is unclear whether robbery was the motive for the shooting. The investigation is ongoing, and we will give updates as they become available.

Hawkeye Security Guards Fatally Shoot Alleged Intruder in Kingsland Meadows, Manchester.
MANCHESTER, Jamaica: The police confirmed the fatal shooting of an alleged intruder by Hawkeye security guards Wednesday morning. They assured the public that an investigation was underway.
The authorities identified the deceased as Davian Daley, 24, of Kingsland Meadows in Mandeville.
At about 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, a Hawkeye security team responded to premises along Lily Close in Kingsland Meadows.
Upon arrival, Daley, an alleged intruder, reportedly confronted the team, during which he got shot and injured.
The security team swiftly transported the wounded man to the Mandeville Regional Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Mandeville Criminal Investigation Branch is investigating the incident.
Investigation Underway for Gruesome Killing of Elderly Poultry Farmer in Cow Gully, St Catherine.
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica: Police said an investigation is underway to uncover who is responsible for the murder of a senior citizen at her Bog Walk home.
Law enforcement named the deceased Patricia Watson, 65, a poultry farmer from Cow Gully, Bog Walk in St Catherine.
At about 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, a relative reportedly stumbled upon Watson’s body in her yard with her throat cut.
Residents assisted the injured woman to the Linstead Hospital, where the authorities pronounced her dead.
The police are yet to prove a motive for the gruesome killing.
The Bog Walk Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
Man’s Body Found in Linstead with Chop Wounds
The Linstead police in St Catherine are appealing for assistance in identifying a man whose body was found by residents with chop wounds near a church on Tuesday.
According to reports, at around 3:15 a.m., passersby came across the body near the Bread of Life Church and alerted the authorities.
Upon the arrival, the police team, found the body of a man with multiple chop wounds.
The officers later transported the body to the hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
