KINGSTON, Jamaica – A woman from St Andrew has been arrested and charged with the murder of her father, which occurred on May 18, 2021, after being on the run for three years.
The accused, 30-year-old Bianca Fullerton of Hope Boulevard in St Andrew, has been formally charged with the murder of her 57-year-old father, Brian Fullerton.
Reports from the Half-Way Tree police show that on May 18, 2021, an altercation took place between the woman and her father, resulting in a tragic outcome.
Allegedly, the accused used a piece of board to repeatedly strike her father, causing him severe injuries. Despite being rushed to the hospital by law enforcement, Brian Fullerton sadly passed away on May 22, 2021.
Following a thorough investigation and a post-mortem report confirming the cause of death as blunt force trauma, the authorities issued a warrant for Bianca’s arrest.
After successfully evading capture for three years, Bianca Fullerton was apprehended by the police during an operation on Friday, July 26, 2024.
She is set to stand before a judge in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Friday, August 02.
Young boy wounded in shooting incident at gaming lounge in St Ann.
A 15-year-old boy experienced a traumatic event when he was shot and injured in a drive-by shooting in Steer Town, St Ann, on Monday night, July 29, 2024.
As the evening unfolded, the boy was among patrons at the Flares Games and Sports Lounge in the community when a vehicle reportedly pulled in front of the premises.
Tragically, the occupants aboard the vehicle fired several shots in the lounge, resulting in the young boy sustaining gunshot wounds to the neck and buttocks.
In the aftermath, the police responded and took the teen to the hospital, where medical staff admitted him for treatment.

Clarendon Construction Worker Charged with Burglary and Assault with Intent to Rape.
CLARENDON, Jamaica–A construction worker in Clarendon is now facing charges of burglary and assault with intent to rape after reportedly breaking into a woman’s home and demanding sex. The accused, identified as 27-year-old Okeeno Maurice of Long Fearon district, Silent Hill, Clarendon, was formally charged on Monday, July 29, 2024.
The Christiana police stated that between 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, the complainant was awakened by unfamiliar sounds in her home and observed the accused entering through the window. He allegedly grabbed her and demanded sexual intercourse.
Upon the woman’s outcry, the accused fled the scene. The complainant promptly reported the incident to the police, leading to an investigation which resulted in the accused surrendering himself to the authorities. His court appearance date is pending.
Suspected Body of Lucea Jail Escapee Found in St James River.
ST JAMES, Jamaica – The authorities recovered the body of a man from a river near the bypass road now under construction in Irwin, St James. It is suspected that the deceased is one of the individuals who escaped from the Lucea lock-up over the weekend.
The discovery was made on Monday, July 29, 2024, by the police and firefighters. Law enforcement officials have postulated that the man was shot and killed between Sunday night and early Monday morning.
According to a police source speaking on the condition of anonymity, it is believed that the body is that of one of the two men who fled from the lock-up in the early hours of Sunday morning. The other escapee was successfully recaptured on Sunday, July 28, 2024.
As of now, the police have not officially disclosed the identity of the deceased man.
