Two Men Found Dead with Severe Injuries Near Dunbeholden Main Road.

St Catherine, Jamaica – Two unidentified men were found murdered near a pump house along Dunbeholden Main Road in Portmore, St Catherine, on Wednesday morning, March 13, 2024.

Reports indicate that at approximately 7:30 a.m., individuals came across the mutilated bodies and promptly notified the police.

The Major Investigations Division (MID) swiftly responded to the scene and discovered the lifeless bodies with gunshot wounds and partially severed necks, lying face down. The victims’ hands and feet were bound, and they were dressed in shorts without shirts.

Authorities described the victims as having dark complexions, being around five feet eight inches tall, and appearing to be in their late twenties or early thirties.

MID has initiated an investigation into this distressing incident.

Sushana Greenfield, a 40-year-old resident of Oxford Street, Kingston, has been accused of child abduction involving the 11-day-old baby, Kimoya Robe, at the Kingston Public Hospital on Monday, March 11, 2024.

As reported by the Denham Town police, Greenfield approached the mother of the baby at approximately 10:05 a.m. at the Kingston Public Hospital and offered to help while the mother was in a wheelchair. After receiving the infant from the mother, Greenfield engaged in conversation and left under the pretense of returning shortly. The mother attempted to intervene, but Greenfield departed with the baby and did not come back.

The incident was reported to the hospital authorities, who alerted the police. Despite a thorough search of the hospital compound, neither the infant nor Greenfield could be found. Later that day, around 3:35 p.m., acting on a lead, the police located the infant and Greenfield at North Humberland Lane, Kingston 16.

Subsequently, Greenfield was arrested and charged on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. The date for her court appearance is pending.

Law enforcement authorities in St. James have detained and charged a male suspect with violations of the Firearms Act following the discovery of an illegal gun and ammunition during a routine patrol in his community on Monday, March 11, 2024.

The accused, identified as Antoniel Gordon, a 41-year-old fisherman from Hurlock District, St. James, now faces charges of possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition.

According to the Granville police, at approximately 9:00 a.m., a police team observed Gordon behaving suspiciously while walking along the roadway in the community. As a result, the officers conducted a search, during which they found a 9mm pistol with a magazine containing nine 9mm rounds of ammunition in his possession.

The police promptly arrested and charged the accused, and his court appearance date is pending.

On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, the Clarendon police filed charges against a suspect who allegedly stole a licensed firearm from a restroom at a business establishment in Mineral Heights.

Kevance Cole, a 27-year-old taxi operator from Moores District in Clarendon, has been charged with simple larceny of a firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon, and unauthorized possession of ammunition.

As per the police report, on Friday, March 01, 2024, the complainant inadvertently left his firearm unattended atop a tissue holder in the restroom at the business establishment. Upon realizing the firearm was missing, he returned to the restroom but could not locate it.

Following a review of CCTV footage within the establishment, Cole was allegedly observed entering the restroom and leaving with something concealed at his waistband without collecting his order from the business place.

Cole was apprehended during an operation on Friday, March 08, 2024, and subsequently positively identified in an identification parade on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. He awaits his court date.
