Four motorcyclists were killed in separate incidents on Friday; the figure has pushed the death toll of motorcyclists who have died since the start of the year to over 100.

According to police blotters, two motorcyclists were killed when they crashed into each other on the Ballards Valley main road in St Elizabeth on Friday morning.

The police have identified three individuals who died in separate motorcycle accidents. The first incident involved two men, Kimoy Hibbert, 24, and Odane Swaby, 35, who collided with each other while traveling in opposite directions. Both were thrown from their motorcycles and were pronounced dead at the Black River Hospital.

In the second incident, Shamareo Thomas attempted to overtake a turning vehicle along Caledonia Road in Mandeville, and collided with it. He was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the Mandeville Regional Hospital.

The third incident occurred when an unidentified biker collided with a parked truck on the Sandy Bay main road in Clarendon. The biker died instantly at the scene.

Cops believed a St James man’s death is linked to his court case.

A man named Quensie Foster, also known as ‘Buss Head’, was found shot to death in Rose Mount, Cambridge, St James. He was a 28-year-old mechanic from Post Office Hill.

The police were called after residents heard gunshots. Foster had multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body and head. He was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead.

Foster was involved in a shooting case before the courts for shooting a man named Orrett Morris. The police are investigating if there is a possible link between the shooting case and Foster’s death. Morris himself was shot and killed by gunmen in Cambridge the previous month.

Police launched probe into cop’s nephew’s death in St Catherine.

‘Barber Boy’ charged after stolen properties found at his Hanover home.

A 32-year-old man named Ashwani Hunt, also known as ‘Barber Boy’, has been charged with house break-in and larceny in Hanover, Jamaica.

He was accused of breaking into a house in the Pondpiece district and stealing various items, including 11 boxes of cigars, a bottle of Johnnie Walker, two cartons of Marlboro Gold cigarettes, and several ATM cards.

The stolen items were found at his home in an adjoining district after a police investigation.

Hunt, a construction worker and fisherman from the Lookout district, is currently awaiting a court date.
