Even with compelling evedence, Police still haven’t charged Leoda Bradshaw.

Even though the Police said the evidence against Leoda Bradshaw, the woman named prime suspect concerning the disappearance of the 10-month-old daughter of veteran politician, Phillip Paulwell and her mother, is compelling, she is still languishing in custody without being charged.

34-year-old Bradshaw is the prime suspect in the disappearance of 27-year-old Toshyna Patterson and her daughter, Sarayah Paulwell.

Miss Bradshaw and three men were apprehended by the Police on Thursday, October 5, 2023, following an intelligence-led operation in East Kingston.

DCP Bailey said the Police are treating the matter as a kidnapping with potential conspiracy charges to murder.

On Friday, DCP Bailey said the evidence against Bradshaw was compelling.

Their family last saw Miss Patterson and little Sarayah Paulwell on September 8, 2023, at their Gilmore Drive, Kingston 20 home.

The Police are yet to determine whether human remains found in the hills of East Kingston are those of the missing mother and child.

Woman went missing after allegedly stabbing her common-law husband to death.

On Friday, October 7, 2023, a simple domestic quarrel between a couple in Papine, St. Andrew, turned deadly when a woman fatally stabbed her common-law husband. 

The authorities identified the deceased as Keron Henry, age 36, a late hospital porter of Hope Flats in Kintyre, St Andrew.

The authorities said 

at about 3:30 p.m., the couple locked horns during a domestic dispute. As the mele progressed, the woman pulled a knife and allegedly stabbed Henry.

Hospital officials pronounced Henry dead on arrival.

The Police are searching for the suspect. She has gone missing since the unfortunate incident.

Police charged Mammee Bay lifeguard after finding a revolver in his bedroom. 

On Friday, October 6, 2023, law enforcement officers in St. Ann arrested and charged a Mammee Bay lifeguard with breaches of the Firearms Act.

Law enforcement authorities charged Paul Barrett, o/c ‘Reptile,’ age 27, a lifeguard and resident of the Mammee Bay community in St. Ann, with possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition. 

According to the St Ann’s Bay Police, at about 1:30 a.m., a Police team searched a premises occupied by the suspect. 

During the search, the Police found one .38 revolver and five .38 rounds of ammunition in his bedroom.

The Police arrested and subsequently charged the suspect following an interview in the presence of his attorney.

Barrett’s court date is pending.
