Residents of North and South Hampson in St. Elizabeth protested the prolonged lack of electricity and water following Beryl. The protest disrupted the main road. Delroy Slowley, the MP for the area, expressed frustration at the slow response. Jamaica Public Service condemned the aggression towards its workers and warned that such actions could delay restoration efforts.
