Tragic Death: Three Jamaicans met their Demise in 24 hours. On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, police officers in St. James, Jamaica, shot and killed a suspect during an operation in the Farm Heights community.

The police identified the deceased as 20-year-old Romario Ferguson, otherwise called ‘JT.’

Law enforcement sources stated that Ferguson was out on bail for murder. Plus, the police were actively investigating him for several other crimes, including murders, shootings, and robberies committed in St. James, Jamaica.  

 At around 10 p.m., a police team conducted a targeted operation on Eagle Drive in Farm Heights. They were searching for Ferguson, who was reported to be in possession of a firearm.

When the police accosted Ferguson, he allegedly opened fire on the police team. 

As a result, the police returned fire, and during an exchange of bullets, they fatally shot Ferguson.

Additionally, the police reportedly recovered a 9mm pistol with a magazine containing three rounds at the scene. 

The Clarendon police have begun an investigation into the tragic death of a man. His body was found with severe head injuries. This discovery was made on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in the May Pen Plaza in Clarendon, Jamaica.

The police have yet to release the identity of the deceased.

The Gleaner reported that a maintenance team conducted an early morning cleaning. This took place at Bargain Village in the Plaza.

During the cleaning, team members found the man’s body in what seemed to be a pool of blood. They summoned the police.

May Pen’s Mayor, Joel Williams, expressed deep concern about the tragic death, which he described as disturbing.

Mayor Williams urged the public to show greater compassion towards people experiencing homelessness.

A 42-year-old woman has died tragically from her injuries. She was struck by a car while allegedly crossing a street in St. James on Tuesday night, June 10, 2025. The police identified her as Carol Campbell from the Birch Hill district.

According to reports, at around 11:05 p.m., Campbell was walking along the roadway. As she reached the area near Harvey Beach, she reportedly ran across the road. She ran directly into the path of a Toyota Axio motorcar.

The vehicle struck her violently, resulting in severe injuries. Passersby quickly transported her to Cornwall Regional Hospital, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries.

The Carol Gardens Traffic Department is currently investigating the tragic death
