Pandemonium broke out at Holmwood Technical High School. A gunman fatally shot a bus driver.

Pandemonium broke at Holmwood Tech and Rousseau Primary on Friday after gunmen killed two persons in separate shootings. Both shootings unfolded about 45 minutes apart.

In the first shooting, a brazen gunman with scant regard for law and order fatally shot a bus driver at Holmwood Technical High in northeast Manchester Friday morning.

According to reports, the explosion from the bullet caused pandemonium as students and teachers scampered for cover.

Law enforcement identified the dead man as Rohan Gentles, o/c ‘Scrooge,’ a resident of the Chudleigh district.

Preliminary reports indicated that at about 8:10 a.m., the Holmwood Technical School bus driver was at the institution.

Reportedly, the gunman struck as he awaited to transport students in the school’s coaster bus to a football match in Spalding.

School administrators canceled classes for the remainder.

As news of the shooting spread, scores of parents flock to the school to pick up their children, causing more pandemonium.

Meanwhile, the murder stats for Manchester are now 45, compared to 39 over the same period in 2023.

Investigators have yet to prove a motive for the shooting. The Mandeville CIB in Manchester is investigating the brutal murder.

Within 45 minutes after a gunman slew the Holmwood Technical School bus driver, news of another shooting emerged.

A gunman outside the gate of the Rousseau Primary School in St Andrew fatally neutralized a man believed to be a parent.

According to reports, the unidentified man had just arrived at the school to drop off at least three children when the gunman struck.

Reportedly, the brutal murder occurred in the full view of the children. They hurried out of the motor vehicle and ran in different directions during the gun attack.

Vendors within earshot of the explosion scampered as pandemonium erupted.

Most students attending the school were reportedly already inside their classrooms. But they were within earshot of the explosion.

The school’s administrators alerted parents via WhatsApp groups to pick up their children as school was closed.

Friday’s shooting outside the Rousseau Primary is the second such occurrence within a year.

Pandemonium broke out at the school last year after a gunman shot a parent under similar circumstances.
