Thugs gunned down an unidentified Man in Seaview Gardens on Sunday.

Gum shoes from the St Andrew South Division are actively soliciting the public’s help in identifying the body of a man gunned down by unknown thugs on Atlantic Boulevard in Seaview Gardens on Sunday, June 18, 2023.

According to a police release, the body appears to be in its mid-twenties, about five feet seven inches tall, has a brown complexion, is medium built, is clad in a grey T-shirt, blue jeans, and has on white Reebok sneakers, and has a cornrow hairstyle.

On Sunday, June 18, 2023, at about 12:05 am, residents along Atlantic Boulevard heard several loud explosions and alerted the police.

Upon arrival, the law enforcement officers found the lifeless body lying along the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds.

The police rushed the body to the hospital, where authorities pronounced it dead on arrival.

As a result, the police are asking anyone having information that can assist them in the investigation to contact the Hunts Bay CIB at 876-923-7111, the police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.

Residents found a bullet-riddled body in a gully in Farm Heights, St James.

On Sunday, June 18, 2023, residents of the Farm Heights community, St James, summoned the police to a gully where they found a lifeless body.

The police said the body appeared to be in its thirties, about five feet tall, brown complexion, medium build, and a cornrow hairstyle. 

According to reports, at about 8:00 pm, Sunday, June 18, 2023, residents in the Farm Heights community heard the sound of gunshots coming from a nearby gully.

They inquisitively went to investigate and stumbled upon a man’s body, lying in blood in the gully with multiple gunshot wounds.

They assisted the man to the hospital, where authorities pronounced him dead.

Police investigators said they believe the deceased was popularly known as ‘Damion.’

The police are investigating.

A man pleaded guilty in the St Catherine Circuit Court to murdering his wife. 

On Friday, June 16, 2023, Tractor operator Peter Walters pleaded guilty in the St Catherine Circuit Court to killing his wife during a domestic dispute at their home. 

Justice Bertram Morrison set sentencing for October 13, 2023, after Walters admitted he killed his wife.

According to the indictment, the unfortunate incident occurred early on August 26, 2022.

Walters arrived home at Berkshire Hall district in St Catherine at about 2:00 am on the morning in question. Soon after, an argument started between himself and his wife, Nickiesha DeCosta-Walters. 

During the altercation, Peter Walters used a knife and stabbed his wife several times.

He would later jump into his car and drive himself to the Linstead police station and turn himself over to the police.

The police launched an investigation and subsequently charged Peter Walters with murder.
