Police launched a manhunt for St James’ most wanted Oshane ‘Brukhand’ Francis.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force, JCF, has launched an extensive search for St James’ most wanted man Oshane ‘Brukhand’ Francis.

Francis became the division’s most wanted following the death of Nester ‘Zaddo’ Gallimore.

A police operation is underway in the Rosemount area of the parish. The police say they’ve already seized a vehicle known to be used by Francis.

The police have linked Francis to a series of murders in the Mount Salem area of the parish in recent months. He was among people urged to turn themselves in last month following several double murders and a triple murder.

The police say as the operation unfolds, the divisional commander and his team are encouraging residents of Rosemount to remain inside their homes for their safety.

The JCF says it remains committed to maintaining the peace and safety in the parish and across Jamaica.

The police have urged the public to report suspicious activities or people observed in and around the Rosemount Area.

The police say people with relevant information can contact the JCF through the NIB Tip Line at 811, Crime Stop at 311, Police Emergency at 119, or the nearest police station.
