Twenty-three-year-old makeup artist gunned down in Westmoreland.

Twenty-three-year-old Moehesha Heath, a makeup artist from May Pen, Clarendon, was gunned down on Sunday, March 19, 2023, in Sheffield District, Negril, Westmoreland.

According to reports, Heath had recently moved to Negril to shack up with her boyfriend. At about 5:50 pm Sunday, March 19, 2023, Heath had just exited her car when three men approached her and opened fire.

Neighbors summoned the police. Upon arrival, they found Heath on her back, suffering from gunshot wounds to her upper body.

The police transported her to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The police seized a semi-automatic pistol in Moore Town, three arrested

St James police took three people into custody on Sunday, March 19, 2023, following an illegal gun and ammunition seizure in Maroon Town St James.

According to the authorities, a team of law enforcement officers was on patrol in Maroon Town when they conducted a snap operation at a bar in the Town Square. And during the operation, they found a CZ 75 semi-automatic pistol fitted with a magazine containing three cartridges under the counter inside an unoccupied structure across from the bar.

The police said the serial number on the weapon was partially erased.

St Elizabeth police nabbed two youths implicated in multi-million dollar robbery.

The St. Elizabeth Police made a breakthrough in the multimillion-dollar high school robbery last month.

St Elizabeth detectives have reported that they arrested and charged two teens concerning the robbery at the high school in Elim District, St Elizabeth, last month.

According to the details, on Friday afternoon, the two teens allegedly forced a window open, entered the building, and stole over 60 Samsung tablets, estimated at J$2 million, a laptop, and an undetermined sum of money.

The police have withheld the name of the 17-year-old teen, but they have identified his co-accused as KessonielBanton, 18, of Elim District, St Elizabeth.

According to the detective report, the two were arrested after an investigation led the cops to locate the stolen items in possession of Banton and the other teen.
The police subsequently charged them with school housebreaking, larceny, and receiving stolen property after a question-and-answer session in the presence of their attorneys.

Both teens will appear before the St. Elizabeth Parish Court on Tuesday, April 11.
