Bounty Killer waved a white flag and accused Mr. Vegas of using their lyrical beef to promote his new label.
Therefore, he will not be distracted from his greatness and will no longer engage Mr. Vegas in a fictitious sound clash. Killer said he believes Mr. Vegas is creating drama and controversy to promote a recently signed new music deal. He shared his thoughts with a fan on Tuesday morning, February 7, 2023.
In response to a fan who asked him to stop responding to Mr. Vegas Bounty Killer said:

“You’re absolutely right but I think wide, and far he’s on the ending. I got so much more to do, and offer can’t make him distract my greatness. He just wants to trade insults typical b–ch stye tracing,” Bounty Killer wrote.
“Y’all know that if I want to destroy him, it’s not hard, but he ain’t even coming on stage is media stuff him a pull bcuz he gotten a little poop deal trying to remain relevant until he drops the album.”

I am surprised Bounty Killer is this naive, shortsighted, and self-centered. I cannot imagine what he thought an artist-to-artist clash was. Everybody should know that an artist-to-artist clash was strictly for entertainment. And even though a few artists took some of the lyrics personally, it was mostly those who lost a bitter battle.
So, for Bounty Killer to say he is pulling out because Vegas is using the lyrical beef to promote his new music deal is asinine. First of all, Killer is the most prominent and famous artist, and there is no doubt that he would benefit more. But this is not about Killer or Mr. Vegas. It’s about pumping much-needed oxygen into Dancehall. And already, Dancehall fans were starting to draw battle lines. Some people even began to talk about Sting 2023.
I think Bounty Killer made a big mistake. He killed something that was shaping up to be bigger than he and Vegas put together. And as much as I would have loved if the clash prolonged, I wouldn’t encourage him to make an about-face because it would not be the same if he did.
