Trending in Jamaica News: Pastor succumbed to injuries one day after being attacked by a lone gunman.
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — A man of God who was shot and wounded in a surprise mid-day attack in Portmore, St Catherine, on Monday, December 19, 2022, has succumbed to his injuries.
He is identified as Lynval Lewis, pastor at the Spanish Town Tabernacle and Greater Portmore Tabernacle.
According to early reports, a lone gunman opened fire on Lewis while driving from his Greater Portmore house. The attacker then fled the scene.
Lewis was rushed to the hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.
Investigations are ongoing.
