St Kitts and Nevis deported two Jamaicans on cops wanted list. Two Jamaican murder suspects who fled to St Kitts and Nevis after a fatal shooting in St Ann are now back in the country. The authorities in St Kitts and Nevis deported the men to Jamaica, where local authorities have charged them with murder and firearm-related charges.

Local authorities have released the identity of the suspects. They are 31-year-old Chevon Brown, otherwise called ‘Balla’, a lifeguard, and 37-year-old Kemar Matthews, otherwise called ‘Bibbi’, both of Ocho Rios, St Ann.
The police accused the men of fatally shooting Kimani Lettman, 20, from Steer Town, St Ann, on February 8, 2023.
According to the St Ann’s Bay police, at around 2:30 a.m., Lettman and a friend were at home when armed men allegedly broke in and opened fire, striking both occupants before fleeing the scene on foot.
The police responded and transported the injured men to the hospital, where a doctor pronounced Lettman dead on arrival. Then, they treated and released the other victim.
Investigators launched a probe and, during their investigation, discovered that the two suspects had fled Jamaica to St Kitts and Nevis.
After consultations and court procedures, officials in St Kitts and Nevis deported the accused to Jamaica on Thursday, May 21.
The local authorities placed the accused in custody and formally charged them.
Investigators charged the accused with murder, wounding with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of ammunition, and burglary.
The police have yet to decide on a court appearance date for the accused.
