The authorities have identified the suspects as follows: Jahneke Kelly, also known as Black Boy, 24 years old, a laborer from Little Shaw Park Villa, Ocho Rios; Rahjuan Thompson, also known as Anju Blacks, 28 years old, from Shaw Park, Ocho Rios; and Renaldo Richards, also known as Bim, 21 years old, from Eltham, Ocho Rios.

The St Mary police investigators have charged the suspects with several offenses, including:

– Robbery with aggravation

– Possession of a prohibited weapon

– Using a firearm to commit a felony

– Assault at common law

– Misprision of a felony

– Receiving stolen property

– Possession of criminal property

– Transferring criminal property

– Being part of a criminal organization

– Facilitating the commission of an offense by a criminal organization

– Conspiracy to commit robbery with aggravation

The St Mary police said the charges stem from a wide range of criminal activities linked to the suspects.

According to the Port Maria police, at approximately 6:45 pm on April 14, a man was sitting in his white Toyota Crown when a dark blue Subaru Impreza approached and parked alongside him.

Moments later, Renaldo Richards allegedly exited the Subaru and pointed a firearm at the complainant, ordering him to get out of the vehicle.

The complainant complied and claims that Richards and one of his accomplices then entered his vehicle and sped away.

Afterward, the complainant filed a criminal report at the police station.

Thanks to the quick action of St Mary police, Richards was captured in another section of the parish. On April 16, the police apprehended Thompson and Kelly after a patrol intercepted the stolen vehicle in Ocho Rios.

Detectives formally charged the suspects on April 18, 2026. They are scheduled to appear in the St. Mary Parish Court on April 23.
