Investigators identified the accused as Jowayne Williams, o/c ‘Dangles,’ 23, from Pike district, Christiana, in Manchester.

In addition to murder, Williams faces charges of possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of ammunition, wounding with intent, and using a firearm to commit a felony.

According to the allegations, on July 13, 2024, at about 10:10 p.m., a woman and two male customers were at her bar in Big Wood district.

Posing as a customer, Williams entered the premises and brandished a firearm.

He reportedly opened gunfire, hitting all three persons before escaping in the area.

The police responded and swiftly transported the injured persons to the hospital.

Upon arrival, hospital officials pronounced the female and one of the two men dead and admitted the other victim.

Law enforcement arrested and charged Williams on Friday, November 29, 2024. His court appearance date is pending.
