In St Catherine, Jamaica, authorities have formally charged a suspect in connection with a case of housebreaking and sexual assault. This incident is a part of the rising concern about violent crimes in the area. The accused, Julian Maylor, aged 34, hails from Mount Roser, Ewarton, St Catherine. He is alleged to have committed these crimes on September 18 in Ewarton.
According to law enforcement, the incident occurred on Wednesday, September 18. Maylor reportedly gained entry to the complainant’s residence in Roadside District by removing a window.
Once inside, Maylor is said to have undressed and subsequently assaulted the complainant.
The complainant took prompt action by filing a report with the Ewarton police, prompting an investigation into the matter.
On Wednesday, October 2, police apprehended Maylor and formally charged him.

Man Arrested for the Violent Crime of Shooting in Manchester, Jamaica
In Manchester, Jamaica, detectives have formally indicted a suspect. He is implicated in a shooting incident involving the complainant during an altercation in Porus.
The accused, identified as 24-year-old Jamar Plummer, also known as ‘Dunn,’ hails from the Trinity district in Manchester.

Law enforcement officials have charged Plummer with wounding with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon, and unauthorized possession of ammunition. Additionally, he faces charges for using a firearm to commit a felony.
According to reports from the Porus police, the shooting transpired at approximately 7:50 a.m. on Main Street on September 25. Plummer allegedly approached the victim on a motorcycle. He discharged a firearm, striking the victim in the face, and subsequently fled the scene.
On Monday, September 30, Plummer surrendered to the police along with his attorney. Following a question-and-answer session, he was officially charged by the authorities.
Plummer is scheduled to appear before the Mandeville Parish Court on Wednesday, October 9.
