Tragic Discovery in St Catherine: Unidentified Couple Found Fatally Shot.

In the early hours of Sunday, January 14, the tranquility of Old Harbor Road in St Catherine was shattered by a series of alarming gunshots. The police, responding to the disturbance, made a grim discovery as they found the lifeless bodies of an unidentified couple in a residential dwelling.

Reportedly, the community residents were awakened by the sound of explosions around 4 a.m. Concerned by the unusual disturbance, residents investigated and uncovered the bodies around 10 a.m. Law enforcement officials were then alerted and discovered the couple inside a board structure, both with fatal gunshot wounds to their upper bodies.

The authorities swiftly took action, processing the scene and transporting the bodies to a funeral home for further examination. Amidst the sadness and confusion, the motive behind this heinous act remains unknown as the police continue their investigations.

The Major Crime Investigations Division and the St Catherine North police are diligently working to unravel the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.

Law enforcement officers assigned to the Cave Valley police station in St Ann have launched an investigation into the death of a 55-year-old woman named Gwendolyn Thomas, also known as ‘Pamela,’ residing in Bottom Cascade district, Borobridge in St Ann.

The residents of the Cascade community discovered her decomposing body at her house on the evening of Friday, January 12, 2024.

On that day, around 2:20 p.m., residents of the Cascade District noticed a strong odor coming from Thomas’s residence, prompting them to investigate. Upon entering, they found Thomas’s decomposing body lying face down on a bed.

The police were notified and subsequently arranged for the body to be taken to the morgue for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.

According to unconfirmed reports, Thomas was last seen alive on January 9, 2024.
