Petrojam employee under investigation in alleged murder plot.

Crime Roundup: Updates on Petrojam’s employee assassination plot and Beryllium guard accidental shooting.

According to media reports, an employee of Petrojam implicated in the alleged foil plot to assassinate the General Manager of Petrojam is under investigation.

Investigators are probing allegations that the employee in question hired contract killers to assassinate his colleague.

The police said they arrested the three alleged hitmen found lurking in a blue Toyota Yaris motor car at the Petrojam oil refinery car park on Marcus Garvey Drive in St Andrew on Thursday, November 23, 2023.

The three men are from addresses in Kingston and St. Ann. The police arrested them after seizing two weapons: a Taurus pistol with six rounds and a .38 pistol with six rounds.

Commanding Officer for the St. Andrew South Police, Senior Superintendent Kirk Ricketts, told Radio Jamaica News officers from the Kingston Western and Kingston Eastern police divisions are participating in the investigations.
