Guys Hill, St Catherine, Jamaica–On Saturday, October 28, 2023, at about 11:00 a.m., law enforcement officers in Guy’s Hill St Catherine responded to a call in the Middlesex community where a suspect allegedly chopped a resident to death.
Upon arrival, the police found the butchered body of a male lying in a pool of blood.
The police have yet to establish the identity of the deceased.
The police have launched an investigation and a manhunt to find the culprit.
A St Mary mechanic is behind bars after being charged with armed robbery.
Port Maria, St Mary, Jamaica–Detectives assigned to the Port Maria Police Department arrested and charged a male suspect with armed robbery.
Gum Shoes in St Mary charged John Moyston, o/c ‘Johnny,’ age 34, mechanic of Frontier in Port Maria, with robbery with aggravation, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorized access to ammunition, and using a firearm to commit a felony.
The Authorities said at about 8:40 p.m., on July 16, 2023, the complainant was closing the business establishment where she worked when two masked gunmen attacked and robbed her.
One of the gunmen robbed her of a Samsung cellular phone and over $50,000.
She alerted the police. And the police launched an investigation.
The police charged Moyston on Friday, October 27, 2023.
His court appearance date is pending.
St James man charged for brother’s murder.
Montego Bay, St James, Jamaica–Detectives in St James have charged Ricardo Pusey, otherwise called ‘Rick,’ of Farm Heights in St James, with the murder of his brother.
Ricardo Pusey allegedly stabbed his 21-year-old brother, Wilton Pusey, o/c ‘Tan,’ a laborer of Farm Heights, to death on October 4, 2023.
According to the Montego Bay police, at about 10:50 p.m., the men were at home when they started a commotion that awoke their father and his common-law wife.
The father went to investigate and reportedly saw Ricardo going through a window and Wilton leaning against a refrigerator, holding his chest. Wilton had stab wounds.
The police responded and transported Wilton to the hospital, where the authorities pronounced him dead.
The police arrested and charged Ricardo on Friday, October 27, 2023, after listing him on Wanted Wednesday as a person of interest following an investigation.
His court date is pending.
