Receipt books and a money-counting machine were also seized, indicating the volume and scale of financial transactions.
The police arrested two women on reasonable suspicion of involvement in illegal lottery scamming activities, possession of criminal property, and money laundering.
The lawmen said the operation is a testament that JAGTF is committed to ensuring community safety and combating illicit activities.

The police identified the deceased as Dwight Edwards, age 40.
According to reporting, at about 9:10 p.m., residents heard explosions coming from a section of the community and alerted the police.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found Edwards’ body slumped on a bicycle with multiple gunshot wounds to his body along the roadway.
They transported him to the hospital, where he died.
The police did not establish a motive for the killing. The investigation continues.

The police release stated that at about 10:00 a.m., law enforcement officers conducted a vehicle checkpoint along the Porus Main Road. The cops randomly signaled the driver of a Toyota mini-bus to stop.
The driver complied. The police observed a male passenger acting suspiciously.
They accosted and searched the suspect and found one Browning 9MM pistol containing six rounds of ammunition in his possession.
The police arrested the suspect but withheld his identity pending further investigations.
