Lady Saw 2.0 brought curtains down at Sumfest, 2023 without saving one soul.

According to Loop News, “The curtains came down on Reggae Sumfest 2023 on a spiritual note Sunday morning, July 23, 2023, with a performance from Minister Marion Hall”.

There was nothing spiritual about Lady Saw 2.0 performance at Sumfest. I see the former Minister Marion Hall doing the same things Lady Saw 1.0 did but with a religious twist here and there. The Kingdom of Heaven did not benefit. She did not save one soul.

Loop News continues to appease the former Queen of Dancehall by saying the following:

“Hall, who went by the moniker Lady Saw when she ruled the roost as a female dancehall artiste, proved her detractors wrong. They had predicted she would use Sumfest to herald her return to the secular genre.
In fact, ‘No Come Ya So Fe Dancehall Title,’ one of the tracks she voiced, reinforced the claim that she has permanently walked away from the dancehall scene”.

Both Lady Saw 2.0 and Loop News are ridiculous. The Holly Bible tells us, “Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2nd Corinthians 5:17).

In Matthew 5:16, The Savior said, “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Nothing in Lady Saw 2.0 Sumfest performance would inspire anybody to serve God. If anything–her performance glorified the Sumfest brand.

According to Loop News, Lady Saw 2.0 tackled many social issues, including hypocrisy–claiming her Ministry is Unorthodox. Then, she lashed out against Christians who sought to railroad her.

“Me want ask the church people dem, the religious, righteous, let me ask them this: how you fi know Him (God) when you a block mi work? How you fi know him when you a try fi shut me up when there are so many mansions in my Father’s house? Nathaniel asked, ‘Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? And you are saying, ‘Can any good thing come out of Lady Saw?” she said.

At the end of her performance, she accepted an award from Red Stripe for her contribution to the music industry; she expressed, “Unno can crucify me now,” while sharing that red wine is the only alcoholic beverage she consumes.
